Please note this property is a working vineyard. That comes with front row, up close and personal views of work during the different seasons.  

A farmer’s work is never done!

 

March through May is Frost Season. During this time when the temperatures fall near or below freezing the farmers must get up in the middle of the night to protect the crops. Some vineyards use water to protect, some use fans. These fans can sound like a helicopter is landing!  Rest assured it is just a soothing part of the grape growing process, ensuring the crop makes it to the bottle! 

 

Late August through early October, is when the grapes are ready to be harvested! The pinnacle of a year’s hard work! Many people want to observe this exciting process. At Zio Tony Ranch, you might have a front row seat to the action- complete with lights, tractors and the vineyard crews hand-picking the precious fruit. Pull up the shades and watch from the warmth and comfort of your cozy bed! If you prefer to sleep through the excitement, check the night stand for ear plugs and eye covers.
